Kyan Johnson is a passionate musician currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Viola & Violin Performance at Johns Hopkins Peabody Conservatory of Music. With over 10 years of experience on the Violin and Viola, Kyan studies under the guidance CJ Chang, Principal Violist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and has cultivated a deep love for music. Kyan has enjoyed being the principal violist for several ensembles and working with renowned conductors like Marin Alsop, Joseph Young, and Mei-Ann Chen. His rich performance background helps him provide personalized and engaging instruction for students of all levels. Kyan loves sharing his musical knowledge and is dedicated to inspiring young musicians to discover their own potential in a fun and supportive environment. In his free time Kyan loves to arrange music, cook, and hike along the North Shore.
