Kristen Wagner is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Education. Her musical journey began playing the piano from a young age, but she soon discovered a passion for singing and performing. Kristen has studied a wide range of musical styles including classical, musical theatre, jazz, pop, and contemporary. She is passionate about the connection and community found in music ensembles as well as the healing power of collaborative music-making. She has been a vocalist in acapella, barbershop, folk, and choral ensembles and played guitar and piano for rock, jazz, and funk/soul bands. Kristen has spent the last few years teaching music in the classroom and has enjoyed seeing the impact music has on the overall well-being of her students. She enjoys writing and performing her own music and making music with friends. Kristen looks forward to being a part of your musical journey!
