Sarah Yang is a cellist and audio engineer from Minnetonka, Minnesota. She holds a BA in Cello Performance and a BS in Sound Recording Technology from DePaul University. Sarah has been playing cello since age 7, and has performed in the Minnesota Youth Symphonies, Minnetonka Symphony Orchestra, and DePaul Symphony Orchestra. With her background in both studio recording and performance, Sarah has recorded cello for a variety of projects including pop, folk, musical theater, classical, and video game music. She also plays cello with her church worship team. Sarah is passionate about meeting her students where they’re at and helping them discover their unique self-expression through music. Besides playing cello, Sarah enjoys learning classical and jazz guitar, playing video games, and drinking boba.
