Rachel took 10+ years of piano lessons and 8 years of trumpet lessons, especially focusing on learning music theory, sight reading, and different genres of music. She dual majored with an Elementary Education degree from Valley City State University and a Human Development/ Family Science degree from North Dakota State University. Throughout that time, she accompanied two collegiate choirs and various vocalists, traveling all over the United States to perform. She has taught two years of private piano lessons, and she enjoys playing piano for her local church. In her free time, she loves to run, travel anywhere a plane can take her, and have a blast with her son, daughter and husband.
